Peking, Received April 8. A. mesting of the Quintuple Group was held yester day. It is understood that question of control in connec tion with the loan was brought up with no result, apparently owing to the fact that there is considerable disagreement amongst the members of the Group in the matter of some pressing control of the Bank of Chins which will collect the tares and act generally as a Gov- erument Bank throughout the country under foreign guidance.
It is understood that China does not object to the employment of foreigners but does not want the members of the Group to be interested.
