In the report for November, 1913, the Haibo Conservancy states that during the month here was a depth 4ft. in. on Taku Bar on the centre line and 4ft. Gin: on the side lines. The bad of the channel is approximate ly two feet lower than the creat of the bar. The dredging of the barbour has resulted in a depth of 15 ft. bsing obtained along the bunds at low water. The water. in the river was generally good with the exception of North West Reach where dredging is requir- ed, whilst the scouring of the Fourth Cutting is prcoeeding satisfactorily.
