Last evening a foreign-droseed Chinese fatally shot another Chinese, similarly attired, in the foraigo quarter. at Quinsan Gardens, Hongkew district.
A Chinese policeman who was ten yards away at the time chased, the assailant, who was fired on but managed to escape.
Current reports assert that Shanghai is filled with paid ussassins, who are despatching rebellious Southerners, thas paying off old scores.
