A determined effort is being made in military circles in Japan to resuscitate the demand for two additional Army Divisions. It will be remembered that it was upon this question that Marquis Saiunj's Ministry, came to grist just over a year ago, and
judging from the political discussione.now proceeding in Japan it looks as though another political crisis is imminent. The military party ate maintaining that the increase of the Army by two Divisions has already been sanctioned and they are determined to have provision made in the Budget for next year. General Kusenose, the Minister of War, ie represented as an 'ardent supporter of the proposal, but his silence on the question since he has been in "office "has caused some misgiving in military cir cles.
