Eight members of Parliament who were arrested in September for alleged sedition have bren ordered to trans- fer to Shanghai from Tientsin, where they have bean bold as hostages for the rebels' good behaviour. Great excite ment is capsed in Peking, where the President has been invoked on the matter.
