Collision in Tientsin River. A collision occurred in lientäin river on October 10 between the Indo-China steamer King ing and the Japanese steamer Tenoho | Maru. The Tencho Main, which was downward bound, encounter- ed. the Kingsing ashore in the Fourth Casting and disregarding a signal from ber to keep back, attempted to pass her. The wash of the Japanese vessel lifted the Kingsing's stern from the bank and, swinging her into mid- atream, a collision occurred. The Kingsing was struck a glancing, blow abreast of the mainmast but neither vessel was seriously damaged and both were enabled to continue their voyages,
