A message from Vienna says that the Emperor of Austria convened an extra-ordinary meet-] ing of the Imperial Council to-day |... (Friday). The Austrian and Hungarian Premiers attended, in addition to the joint Miniatere.
The Emperor gave an audience to Count Berchthold, the Foreign Minister, on Thursday, lasting for three hours.
The foregoing is regarded as indicating that Austria is pre- paring to take military measures, which she will probably under- take with Italy, but the news- papers express relief at the adjournment of the Ambassadors' Conference in Londoɑ, being of opinion that it evidences a more conciliatory attitude..on the part of Montenegro.
