Terrible Accident at Chicago.

Chicago, Sept. 15.-The inter- national aviation meeting bere
te marred this evening by a fatal collision. The victim was Mr. Howard Gill, of Baltimore, a young millionaire amatour aviator, balloonist, automobilist, and hunter, who established tho former American aviation endu- rance record of 4 hours 10-min.. 35-sec. for sustained flights at St. Louis in October. He died while boing taken to hospital, The other seroplane was pilotod by George Mestach, a French- man, one of the recent arrivals for the international contesta, an aviator of merit, well known on the Continent. Mesttab, however,
