Gentlenes-he directors have now to sub. mit to you a general statement of the affairs of the Bank, and balance sheet for the bull-year Kending 30th June, 1910,
The cat profits for that period, including $2,028,987.94, balance brought forward from last account, after piying all charges, deduc'ing faterest paid and dus, maklog" provision for bad and doubtful, accounts, amount to $$.389,127.67.
The directors recommend the transfar of $500,000 from the profit and loss account.to credit of the silver reserva lund, which fund will then strod at $16,000,000
They also recommend writing off Bank pre- mises account the sum of $150,000
After making these translers and deducting remuneration to directors these remains for appropriation $1.714,127.67, cut of which the directors recommend' the payment of a divid. end of two pounds sterling per share, viz. £240,000 which at 1/79, the rats of the day, will absorb $1,694,736.84.

STERLING RESERVE FUND.
