of the gassed yaro matkat since the summer, Mr. Fujino, manager of the Osaka branch of the Mitsui Bussan, has devised a measure of relief for the Takenouchi Shoten and has nò. dertaken to export a part of the stock bold by the firm to, Hongkong and South China. The Mitsui is now awaiting a favourable op- portualty to ship the yam. Japanese gassed yarn, adds the Osaka journal, bas no other

It goes without saying, concludes the Aïákf, that Japanese gassed yarn In gaite unsuitable to English weavers, 1g- norant at Japanese weavers and cotton yarn merchants are of conditions abroad, it would still hardly be thought that they would be en tr pped by such a scheme.
