The defendant is alleged to have impersonated one Li Fuk sometime in 1936, while in poist of fact the latter was dead at the time of the im-

OFFICIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE CEREMONY.

From authorized quarters the P. & T, Timer has received the following communication: On November g'the funeral of her Majesty the the deceased Empress-Dowager will take place, As on the occason of the funeral of the Emper or Kuang Hao, two pavilions will be erected

by order of the Chinese Government, the first for invited guests inside the Tungchibmén, situated on the nonh side of the Tartar city wall, the second one for spectators outside this gala.. Admission loto those pavilions only will

be obtained by showing tickets of admission, which may be obisited on application at the respective Legations. It will not be possible to watch the funeral from other places than the two pavilions.

Those in possession of tickets of admission must reach the pavilions at 7 a.m. on the mora ing of the funeral as the traffic on the streets leading to the pavilions will be suspended after 7 am the streets having to be reserved for the present Empress-Dowager who will make bar! way to the Eastern tombs on these streets..
