On the 19th at 180,pi-Black South Coas holsted.

On the zoth at 6.0 a.-Black South Cone. and Ball bolstad.

On the 20th at 10.35 -Sigoals lowered. At, 11.50 -The barometer is inclined to rise (in the neighbourhood of Hongkong. It has fallen slightly over Tongking.

The depression, which has continued to move towards W.N,W. appears to have reached the E. coast of Hainau.

Another depression has appeared over Man- churia. It is moving Eastwards,

The high pressure ares remains over the Pacific between the Loochons and the Bonins. Light E. and S E. winds may be expected in the Formosa Channel, and strong to moderate E. and S.E winds along the S. coast of China. Hongkong Rainfall for the 24 batis ending at to am. ta-day, 0.78 inches.

The C. P. R. Co.'s 5.8. Manteagle arrived at. Shanghai at midnight on 18th inst., and leaves again at 5 p.m. Monday, for Nagasaki, where she is due to arrive at 6 a.m., on 21st inst.

The Imperial German Mail 8.a. Goeden carrying the German Mails with dates from Berlin of the 30th 't, left Colombe on 18th jost, a.m., and may be expected here on 29th inst.
