The two priests hope to meet the Rev. H. Boncher at Shanghai early in October before proceeding to Tokio. The foundation of such an enterprise with the necessary building and astablishment, of a" library, is expected to be a difficult matter, la a country where little material help can be expected. The success of the work will depend largely on the assist. ance of those who are able and willing to help (the cause of advancing the intellectual progress of Japan on the lines of Occidental culture and Christian civilization.
