ef and instasya-A united at St. Joseph's Church afternoon between. Mr. G. S. V. Bid the Russo-Chinese Fank, and for the past four years Chief Engineer of the Fire Brigade, and Miss Ethel Mande White, young est daughter of the late Mr. Augustus White. There was a very large attendance of friends, conspicuous among whom was a guard of bosour drawn from various companies of the Brigade. The latter's gleaming brass helmets are picturesque touch to the porch of the Church, and the interior of the building was lavishly decorated. The aisles were liked with bamboo folliga and plante, and scarlet and marona draperies, shields and banner covered the walls and lined the Riches of the nave. The High Altar was a blaze of lights and the sun, streaming through the windows at the back, threw it into strong relief. Firemen in uniform assisted relatives of the bride in the duties of wsher, and when the Bride arrived the entered balween two rows of her husband's colleagues in the Brigade. The Bridal March from Lohengrin was played as the Bride antered the Church othe arm of her brother, Mr. W. A White. She was attended by Miss Bidwell and „Miss Wilmer Harris as bridesmaids, Father M. Kensélly, S: 14 conducted the service, and at its conclusion gave a short address upon the obligations and responsibilities of marriages (571 foally wishing Mr. and Mrs Bidwell every
happiness in their married life.
All Claims must be presented within fifteen days of the steamer's arrival bere, after which data they cannot be recognized.
