A TIGER HUNT.

In the mody courtyard of the palace, among the Rance's cocks and beas, and the milch cows especially reserved to her own use, the hunt assembled.

The Rijab was there in his hunting dress; a short, grey tweed coat, a whits muslin neither garment, suggestive of a divided, skirt, trussed up as high as the knee; bare legs and grey canvas bedroom slippers, down at heel, which flapped as he walked. On bis head he wore a tightly folded white muslin turban striped with gold.o'was accompanied by his family: his only son and heir, a child of four years old, with a couple of his nurses; his little daughter with thres of her women, and-half-a-dozen. uncles and nephews from outlying villages, attira in the same style as himself.
