THE TROUSSEAU OF PRINCESS

ENA.

BRAUTIFUL O'WNS MADE IN LONDON.

Princes Enn's & ture is built upon nåble lines. She is very tall, holds herself well, and is deve loped for bar 19 years. Her trousseau gowns "are planned to suit the girlish though well-

round figure.

Most of the skirts are untrimmed, falling in full and graceful folds. An exception to this is a white fancy net with low bodice and quite short, puffed sleeves, the shoulders surrounded by a berthe of white Ice just touched in the centre of the ottern with delicate hyacinth blue. The skirt, through which gleams à whita

silk stip, is trimmed with medallions of similar lace, the only relief to the snowy whiteness being the soft mauve-blue as described.

The belt is white sniin, shaped in folds to tha figure, and trimmed at the top in front with small bows of the satin Fe'da of white shiffon, ́kept very flat and caught down every few inches,

finish the top of the bodice above the lace.

LOVELY WHITE SILK GOWN.

A lovely gown made with a high, transparent yoke, is in white silk gauze with a check of very narrow black lines and, dotted all over with white silk points resembling the very fashionable French knots.

Always a picturesque form of bodice, this will lose nothing on the classically moulded shoulders and well-shaped neck of the youthful Princess, whose arms,rèsemble in tutline those of her grandmother, Queen Victoria, celebrat- ed for the exquisite curves of her hands and

arms.

A FASHIONABLE MATERIAL.

Crepe-de-chine is not only a very fashionable material Just now, but it seems to be a great favorita with Princess Ena. One of her gowns. is in pale blue crepe-de-chine, and it is distin- guished by a very beto ́iful embroidery in pastel blue sequins, which forms a band across the top of the bodice, în I alen lightly trime the sleeves at the top

An Empire coat of black-faced cloth is one of the items of the trousseau. It is lined with white silk, and, han a square collar of white cloth trimmed with silk braid, and piped, with black and white silk. The edges are daintily finished with a narrow black-and-white em- broidery, which with the graduated ends of the ellar is carried down the stents of the hem of the coat.

The cuffs are trimmed to match. Large butions of cat steel fasten the garment in front, and ornament the back. The fronts can be worn clased or thrown upen, and kept so by beat little black velvet strips.

TAILOR COSTUME.

A tailor costume in a small black-and-white check has two skirts, one a long one with high corselet, and made with a haxplent back and front. The bem finished with several rows of stitching. The short skit is in the new. design with seven gores, and is meant for country wear. The seams overlap, and the whole style of it is absolutely simple.

The bolaro cost to be worn with these is trimmed with white cloth sown wth narrow lines of braid and small oxydised buttons. The fronte сар be rolled back, when they show a dainty trimming in black and white. The sleeves, long enough to come below the elbows, are finished with cuffs of the white cloth, braided with black.

A

A second bolero costume is in Donegal frieze, in a soft tone of pale Wedgwood blue. The boloro is long enough to reach the waist, and fits tightly to the figure. The fronta Are finely embroidered by land in white or pale. blue cloth, and the coat is finished with fancy braid, brought over the shoulders and carried to the waist in long lines.

COAT AND WRAP..

A long coat of the frieze is finished without a collat. The skist is heavily gored, and has Insors of the pleated cloth above the kocek la order to give it fulness. The seams are strap- ped.

A handsome wrap is in cream-colored cloth, loosely pleated and very full, so that it can be worn over on elaborable gown without crush ing it. It is trimmed with rich frish guipure

appliqué, with handsome gold embroidery in a trefoil design. The wing sleeves are in the pleated cloth.

The dresses have been made by Miss An drews, of George's Manchester-saithe tallor coats and skirts by Nicoll, of Regent-st.
