NEW CODE.

We have received from the Hongkong Observatory a new cade of meteorological signals which comes into force at Hongkong ay. They are the same as on New Year's Day. those at present in use at Shanghai, and will

be hoisted on the mast beside the time-bali at Kowloon Point for the information of masters of vessels leaving the port. They do not neces sarily imply that bad weather is expected. The signals are as follows:-
