Mr. Walwyn o From the start Kismet got away with Hap- hazard, Unionist and Blitz next. At the Black Rock it was, Kismet Haphazard and Donner, Unionist, Blitz. Kismet finished with a lead of ten lengths and was riding exceedingly well. Time 125-3,5th min.

The start was a very slow one, with lono- cent in the lead if anything. At the bridge Croxton had a lead of twelve lengths and Men tor in the second place and Sundowner third: At the Rock the order was Croxton, Innocence Mentor. Down the Black Rock Croxton was' finished and was left behind, the lead being well taken by Baron. Entering the straight Baron was in front of Innocent and a race, between the two resulted in a win for Baron by four lengths. Sundowner was five lengths behind Innocent and Mentor just after. Croxton was done for and came in many lengths behind.
