MIDDLE GROUND AND LIGHTSHIP has recently been altered.

TUNG SH The Cable has pow been laid from a point

miles inside the South East Spit of the. Middle Ground to a position 120 fa'homs from the Black Buoy on the South East Spit frock, thence scrom the Channel N.E. by E. E to the Tungsha Bank; and thence, close to the bank to the Northward of the Turgaha Light ship.

It is requested that overy endeavour be made to sveld fouling the Cables, and that, such fouling should nevertheless eccur cam will be taken to clest the cables from the anchor without damaging them or interrup= ding the communication.

It is further requested that in case of any suck accident to the Cables, the earliest possible notice be given to the Cable Companies.
