We may therefore expect that early in next year we shall be getting from depth a pure, hard coal, which will give a very large proportion of lucop. For the present, however, all our gutput is being get from the great mass of coal at Haton, when two quarries are heing actively worked. To serve our needs there, we have very considerably increased our plant and rolling stock: 100 trollies have already arrived, to carry the coal from the mine to the main line, while for the ter we have ordered 10 eight-ten waggons and auctber locomotive.
