Further sensational finds of gold are reported from Western Australia. A parcel of eleven tons of stone has returned the phenomenal yield of thirteen thousand ounces of gold. This car vellous alone came from a fifty-fest shaf: on the Begelbolas Reef, which is nine feet wide. There being no battery in the vicinity the stone had to by crushed with the mort primitive appliances. But these rich yields are few and far between when compared with the large area of country being worked.
