The British steamship Diamond reports that she left Singapore on the 17th Instant. The first two days out at the beginning of the passage bad light south-westerly winds and fina clear weather with smooth water, The remainder of the passage had strong winds from north to saat couth-east, accompanied with heavy squalls, thick rainy weather and a beavy confused_son running from the eastward. Passage 7 days and a half.
The Brith steamship Malua reports that she left London, vis Bombay on the 7th instant, and Singapore on the 19th. From Singapore to lat,
north bad light south-west and west-south- west winds and doe wasther. In lat. 7 north to 16 north off Paracels had light variable north. west and north-north-east winds and showery weather with smooth sea.
