On Wedssidy, the zith observed s steamer ashore off Triton Island, signailed to her, but received no answer. From Bombay to Colombo axperienced moderate south-west winds with heavy swell From Colombo to arrival in Hongkong experienced southerly winds and five

The Brillish steamship Halfan reports that she left Foochow on the 25th instant, Amoy on the 36th, and Swatow on the 27th. From Foo chow to Amey had light cast-north-east to north- east winds with clory weather and smooth sea. From Amoy to Swatow bad light south-west to west-north-west winds and clear wasther with to Pedro Blano had smooth sen. From Swalow calts and light variable airs; thence to part bad light north-north-west winds and cloudy weather with easterly swell. In Foochow the steamshles Kwelyang, Kewaking, Sikk and Harkin.
