The Vessel was built by Messrs. Barclay, Curie & Co. at Glasgow in 1873, and classed 100 A1 at Lloyd's.

Length 330.6 feet, breadth 36,7 feet, depth 17 feet 6 inches. It fitted with two comand Inverted direct-acting Engines of 310 hp. nominal and 1,300 h.p. effective built by Barclay, Curle & Co, in 18731 diameter of Cylloden, b.p. 36 los., and Lp. 72 fas.; Stroke of Piston 48 ins.

The Engines were thoroughly overhauled and partly renewed in 1891.

Two, multitubular horizontal Steel Boilers ball by Kawasaki Dock Company in 1890. Working pressure 85 lbs. These are almost new and are in excellent condition.

Total deadweight capacity, bunkers excluded, say Rice or Coal, 2,300 tons.
