THE Kobe Herald sys:-The Zambert' of the Upton Line has fallen in with a slice of good fortune. On the voyage to Portland she fell in with a large disabled steamer with rudder gone and otherwise damaged. The Zambert towed her successfully into port. Captain Edwards cables Mr Frank Upton that the value of the ahip and cargo he thus saved is estimated to be about yoo,ooo dollars. SINCE January of this year, Y.K. steamers have run regularly between Manila and Japan. The Company's agent at that port being very earnest in pushing the business, applied to the Governor of the port with the object of securing special facilities in favor of the N.Y.K. steamers. We rejoice to say that most of the missionaries are back again in Nanking, and all appear to be enthusiastically, throwing themselves into the work.
