The Montiara was built in Singapore, and is most solidly constructed of teak throughout, with tren-wood frames. She has recently been thoroughly overhauled under experienced Euro- pean superintendence, fastened throughout with 7 inch galvanized spikes, and newly re-coppered. She is forcha-rigged with the best canvas axils. Draft of water 7 feet.
