REPORTE

The British steamship Zennor reports that she left Saigon on the 1st instant. The first three days had light north-east winds and smooth sea; thence to port had strong north-east winds and rain with high north-east sea.

The British steamship Canton reports that she left Shanghal on the 3rd instant, and Swatow on the 7th. From Tung-ying to Chapel Island' had strong north-east gale and cloudy weather. From Chapel Island to Hongkong had light variable winds and fine weather.

The British steamship Diamond reports that she left Penang on the 29th ultimo, and Singa pore on the 31st, Had light winds and fing weather until the evening of the gth instants thence had strong wind and cloudy weather until arrival on the 7th at 4 a.m.

The British steamship Cafferthun reports that she left Sydney on the 13th altimo at 6 emis arrived at Townsville at 7.30 p.m. on the 18th, left at 7 a,. following day, and anchored of Cooktown at 10 am. On the 20th, and proceedad at II a.m. the same day, and arrived at Thum day Island at 17.45 a.m. on the 22nd, left again at 4.30 p.m.; reached Port Darwin at 4 pr on the 36th; after discharging quantity of
