THE Circumstances attending the death of one of the crowd of "stragglers" from the Victor Emanuel, briefly referred to last evening, turn .out to be as follows-Four marines and a gunner were absent bevond their leave, having been drinking. They got a bottle of Old Tom gin and went up the hill-side as far as Bowen Rond, and after partaking of the liquor lay down in the shade to sleep. After some time one awoke and found that another, a marine named George Perrot, had rolled some little way down, and was lving exposed to the sum, After a while an attempt was made to rouse him, and he was then found to be dead.
