The British steamship Dorres reports that she left Singapore on the 3rd instant. Had mode- rate to light north-cast monsoon to Paracels; thence to port had light south-east to north-east winds.

The Chinese steamship Furhus reports that the left Shanghai on the 5th instant. Had ligh winds and hazy weather to Lammocks; from there in thick fog, Anchored twice between Single Island and Nine Pins for fog.

The British steamship Namoa reports that she left Foochow on the 5th instant. Experienced light variable winds and thick foggy weather with occasional showers of rain to Amoy. Left Ampy on the 6th, and Swatow on the 7th. From Amoy to Swatow had light north-east winds and thick hazy weather, and from Swatow to port | dense fog, anchored outside for 20 bor.
