NEW YORK COTTON: There was some foreign and local sell- rig, based on Indications that no official announcement is likely to until subsidy programme be made with regard to the Loan and after the issuance of the Government August report and forecast of probable production. The weather continues to be favourable.
The market is firm and sellers are NEW YORK RUBBER: cautious due to the continued tightness on the shipment markets.
CHICAGO WHEAT: The unsettling Italian attitude continues to be a potential threat to higher prices.

FROM ROZA, BROS. Silver prices dropped 3/18 yes- both deliveries, the terday for
for 21.11/16 quotations being Ready and 21.3/16 for Forward. Silver advices reported Specula- tors as having re-solu. A small business was done. The market was steady. American Silver was quoted at 35.1/8 for Spot.
