COTTON: Trade demand was somewhat broader at the opening." but tapered off. Hedge-selling was moderate With the favourable weather for gathering, we expect full ginnings. The Dry Goods" market was quiet. Interest is centered on to-day's Herr Hitler's Reichstag address in which a peace offer is expected, to be made.
RUBBER: The market was quiet, but steady. Commission Houses bought, but dealers stood.by. Sentiment was mixed. Factory buy- ing is expected on any further decline,
WHEAT: Business was comparatively light and prices were easily influenced. The late strength was attributed to better milling de- mand and a good measure of buying and covering. Absence of rains in the drought sections is a substaining factor.
HIDES: Tanners and Commission Houses
are reported to be buyers at the decline. The technical position is healthier,
