In Sydney is a Chinese priest. Father Joseph Liu, who knows many a former war lord of his native land.

A scholarly man, with fluent command of Latin, Italian, French, Spanish and English as well as Chinese, Lau has spent the greater part of his life working as a mis- sionary among the peasants of Honan Province.
