COMMODITY PRICES

RISE IN SHANGHAI SHANGHAI, June 16 (Int'l)--- Owing to the fall of the Chinese currency, commodity prices here are going up sharply. In general the rise is by about 20 to 35 per cent. The goods affected are ported products.

Some Chinese manufacturers are "planning to take advantage of the dollar slump to push exports. Japanese merchants are. ako following the measures as the yen

the Chinese is lower than tional dollar.
