up 1/4 29-1/8 29-3/8 up 1/4 Reflecting conditions prevailing in London and New York the market opened 1/8 of a cent higher for all deliveries as compared with Saturday's closing quotations.
Throughout the session the market ruled quiet, but steady. Demand for "spot" Rubber was fair, whilst dealers and speculators also displayed good buying interest in futures due to expectations of satisfactory consumption prospects, particularly in USA.
After a fair volume of business having been transacted on basis - of quoted rates the market closed with a quiet undertone.
