Commencing his sixth racing season in the Colony, H. A. G. Keates succeeded in maintaining his undefeated status in open events during that period bý winning the Hongkong Cycllar Club's 25 miles unpaced Championship on February 5, in 1 hr. 16 mins, 23 secs., beating the runner-up, Geo. Cottrell, by no less than 7 mins.. 47 secs.
