· ideal American wife, Migs Loy now deviates from her usual roles to play a single woman whose man is stolen by a rival.

In layish metropolitan settings. Miss Loy appears as a newspaper artist in love with a social climber, Walter Pidgeon who, however, weds an, heiress. Franchot Tone, as a cartoonist, secretly loves Miss Loy but will not admit it to her. In the end, she finds out her foolish infatuation for the one, married.

WAX MUSEUM

One of the strangest and most exciting thrillers, "The Mystery of the Wax Museum," opens at the Queen's Theatre tomorrow, with Lionel Atwill, Glenda Farrell, Frank McHugh and Fay Wray heading a large cast.

The story, taken from the play- by Charles S. Belden, deals with a series of mysterious disappearances of both living persons and human bodies, and the appearance of a terrifying monster. The plot cen- tres about 2. wax museum which has on display exceptionally life- like Agures of personages of history and notorious' criminals.

The picture is photographed en- tirely in Technicolour, with unusual lighting effects used to heighten the facinating mystery nilnates the production.
