EAST INDIES SQUADRON After spending Christmas and the New Year at Calcutta, the Norfolk, flagship of Vice-Admiral Sir Alexander Ramsay. left for Rangoon, where she will be until January 17. The Emerald, Captain A. W. S. Agar, V.C., D.S.O., is also leaving for ather Indian ports; and the Enterprise, Captain C. E. Morgan, D.S.O., has left Bombay for Goa, Mangalore, Calicut, and Cochin. At the end of January the Enterprise will leave the station for Portsmouth, where she 13 due on March 12. She will probably make a trooping voyage to China before" refitting. In the Colony of Hong Kong Including the Island, Kowloon and the.. New Territories during the week ending at B a.m. on Saturday, January 15, there were altogether 83 traffic accidents, as the result of which three per- sons were killed and 25 persons were injured.
Of the persons killed, a Chinese male, aged 32 years, died from in- juries received through falling from a moving motor lorry.
