Primo Camera, "the boxer, did not attend the first meeting of his creditors recently at Bankruptcy Buildings Careystreet, London,
Mr. C. T. Newman, Assistant Official Receiver, said a good many people had the idea that some pro- fessional boxers earned fabulous sums and were wealthy people.
"In this case, as in may others." he said, these fabulous sums soon disappear, and it is a matter of surprise to the man in the street to find that one who has recently been, a boxing champion is devold of assets.
"In preliminary examination he stated that he had a big fight three years ago, but he received very little after expenses had been pald. It seems to me that a trust fund should be arranged for boxers in big fights so that there is some provision for them."
