Princess Elizabeth is full of ®; new hobby-the collection and mounting in jewellery of the gems to be found in Scotland.

NON-INTERVENTION
IN SPAIN.
Continuance Urged
#
London, Oct. 29. It is understood that Russia has Non-Intervention notified the Committee that she does not wish to contribute any further futids towards the Non-Intervention Board and the cost of the Spanish control schemes, but will remain a member of the Committee. It is believed that M: Malsky has notified Mr. Anthony Eden to this effect-last night..........--
The Russian viewpoint is be- Leved to be that since. "the sea control scheme is abolished: ob- servation on Spain has become worthless. If, as proposed by the present plan land and sea con- trol were to be restored and strengthened, presumably Russia will be prepared again" to con- tribute her share.
The great majority of members of the Non-Intervention Committee wished non-intervention-top-cam- tinue, stated Lord Cranborne in the House of Commons. He added that there was not a single mem ber of the Committee on Tuesday last who did not accept there solution except Russia and he thought it might be hoped that even Russia on Friday might see ber way to accept.
