"Mr. Xa fortnight'ago, was approached by Ng Kam-shu, an acquaintance, and a stranger Liu Kam-ming, who told him that they were forged bank note dealers. The latter informed "Mr. X" that in his "respectable position" he should be able to dispose of forged notes to a total value of $10,000 to $15,000 a month. Lui also said. that he had a number of forged notes in his possession at the time and that he would sell them to "Mr. X" for half the value.
"Mr. X" was persuaded to buy $200 worth of the notes from Lut and the meeting then broke up. "Mr. " then Informed the police
