With reference to Government Notification No.145 issued in the Hong Kong Government Gazette No.10 of the 5th March, 1937, it is hereby notified for general in- formation that the following ar rangements will take effect dur ing the whole period between the hours of 2 8.m. and 4 a.m, on Sunday the 21st, 1937.

1. All lights on traffic islands, traffic beacons and traffic posts will be extinguished.

2. All Police Officers on duty will have orders to instruct the person responsible to extinguish or obscure any light which is visible from the outside, and to note the name and address of any person falling to carry out such instructions.

3. All taxis and public motor cars will be instructed that they should not ply for hire during the period mentioned.
