Since the last report of the 22nd instant the small January Settle- has been satisfactorily WEDŁ Liquidated. The local market is an the whole steady and there bas been a continuance of demand for Sterling Investment stocks, Public Utilities, Whampoa Docks, Dairy Farms, Green Island Cements, and Cetton Mill shares and in a few instances higher prices have been established.
A fair turnover was reported in Philipping, Mining shares, and at
the close the market is inclined to strengthen.
