Hong Kong. 302 20 Silver prices rose 1/16 yesterday for both deliveries, the quotations being 20 1/2 for Ready and 20 7/15 for. Forward. Silver advices re- ported India as having bought. China sold. Buyers were satis- Hed. After the official' fixing bust- ness was done at 1/10 under the quoted rate, due to offerings by China. American Sliver was quot- ed at 44 3/4 for Spot.

The London-New York cross- rate was quoted at 4.89 3/4 New York-London was unchanged at 4.89 31/32.
