CLUB GYMKHANA
Successful Meet
A very successful Gymkhana was beld by the Equine Sports Club on Sunday last commencing 2.30 p.m. The weather was glorious and the events were run off in a manner that spoke well for the efforts of the sub-committee in charge of the arrangements. Tables were ar- ronged in such a manner that members and visitors could partake of refreshments whilst watching the various events.
Prizes were presented by Mr. Lawrence Kadoorle who, in a brief speech, congratulated the Club on Its first Gymkhana and stated that the standard of riding warranted the Club making its next Gymkhana open to the Colony. He announced that a trophy would be presented to the Club by the China Light & Power Co. Ltd., for an event to be decided upon by the Committee of the Club.
