Dr. Sun Fo On Way To Canton

Dr. Sun Fo. President of the Legislative Yuan, accompanied by over 40 members of the various Government and Kuomintang or- ganisations, arrived in the Colony yesterday by the 88 Fotadam on his way to Canton so attend the state funeral of the fate Mr. Hu Han-min, former veteran Kuomin- tang leader, which will take place at Canton to-morrow. There was & tremendous crowd of Chinese People present at the wharf.

Mr. 8. Y. Wu, Chairman of the Beonomie Committee of the Legis lative Yuan, stated that Dr. Sun will leave for Canton to-day and after the funeral will probably, re- turn to Hong Kong for a few days before departing for Shanghai. It is also likely that Mr. Sun will visit his native village in the

Purple Valley of the Chung Shan

District.

Mr. Wu said that Dr. Sun will definitely not take part in any political meetings or discussions while on this visit to the South. He came down with the sole pur- pose of attending the funeral of the late Kuomintang leader.

Dr. Sun is at present, staying at the Peninsula Hotel.
