This was the verdict returned at the resumed inquest yesterday at the Kowloon Magistracy into the circumstances attending the death of an unknown Chinese girl, aged about 10 years who was knocked down" by a car and killed on the evening of September 25, at Nathan Road near Soy Street.

Mr. QAA Macfadyen, sitting as Coroner accordingly returned a verdict of "death by misadven- ture."

Dr. G. E. Henry stated that he examined the body of deceased the day following the accident. He found a large wound in the shape of a triangle, 5in. by 4in. in the left side of the chest, where the handle of the car caught the girl This he pointed out was the cause of her death.
