Hai Fung District in the eastern part of the province near Swatow, the merchants and the district government of the sald place are now contemplating to erect an Electric Power Plant with which the plant will generate electric power to supply the entire district. It is learned that a planning committee for the erection of the plant has been organised. The scheme is now being drafted. The layout, according to the decision, will be started immediately after the scheme has been, approved.
