Close" and exciting finishes featured the Eighth Extra Ract Meeting of the Hong Kong Jockey Club which was held on Saturday, in warm and sunny weather. There was a good at- tendance present which included His Excellency, the Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Andrew Caldecott and Lady Caldecott, who were accompanied by Caplain. WJ.R. Congr, &.D.C.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the day was the win record- ed by King's Bounty in the second race on the programme, when lucky punters were rewarded $81.30 for their foresight. This was the largest winning dividend paid.
