Black is right for town! though brown and battle green are worn. Fox collars of some importance go with formal tailormades. Astrak- han grey, brown, and black are used on Jackets with becoming hate to match. Sealskin is also
worn in plastrons and wide panels. and long coats may be fur lined.
A couple of tartan skirts with jaunty little Scotch jackets are. closely pleated and have a gallant swing. For evening the slim, Molyneux Une is maintained. Henry Creed, the Eriglish tailor in, Paris, has made one of the best collections of the season, as far as it has gone. He has worked on Directoire lines, adjusting, chang- ing, improving. For sport and tra- velling he has comfortable tweeds in warm, dark, yet bright colours,
There is one in three shades of brown, the skirt in one colour and material, the jacket in another, the long, wide cape in a third, and a blouse of a sharp, 'bright red and green tartan, The cape is ed with the same material as the blouse. He frequently makes a long cape to go with a Jacket and skirt. A felt hat with the higb, narrow, Directoire crown goes with it, the trimming be- ing a supple, bright/plume from a pheasant's tail.
Creed makes dresses and skiras with the high waistline in front. He also makes the high neck line in front, and lowers it behind. "The coats are all full skirted with u swing to the hemline.
