A farewell tea party was held yesterday on the root garden ul the Hong Kong Hotel in honour of Sir William Shenton whe shorty zolug Home on retirement. The party was given by some of the Chinese members of the 'community in token of the res- pect and honour with which they regarded Sir William..
As a memento of the occasion and as a remembrance gift, Sir William was presented with a pair of jade cut-links which presentation was made by Sir Shouson Chow.
